AASuP applauds President Mahama for establishment of Ministry of Energy and Green Transition
The Association of African Sustainability Practitioners (AASuP) has commended President John Dramani Mahama for adding green transition to the Ministry of Energy.
According to them, it underscores government’s commitment to addressing Ghana’s critical energy and environmental challenges.
In a statement to commend the President on his inauguration as the President of the Republic of Ghana, they noted that, “We are excited about the prospects of working with your administration to advance sustainable development and climate accountability in Ghana.”

NEW DAWN OF CLIMATE ACTION IN A GREEN ECONOMY – AASuP CONGRATULATE H.E PRESIDENT JOHN MAHAMA
On behalf of the Association of African Sustainability Practitioners (AASuP), I extend our warmest congratulations to you on your inauguration as the President of the Republic of Ghana. We also congratulate your Vice President, Her Excellency Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, on her historic inauguration as the first female Vice President of Ghana.
Your re-ascension to the presidency of the Republic of Ghanais a testament to the trust and confidence that the Ghanaian people have in your leadership and vision for a sustainable and prosperous Ghana.
